WW1/WW2 Indian Medical Service Officers OSD Cap Badge - Blades

A die cast brass badge (rather than bronze) with two original blades (north - south) - do not recommend playing with these as the can become brittle with age. Circa 4.5cms tall. In very good condition with sharp detail.

The Indian Medical Service consisted solely of commissioned European medical personnel. The Indian Medical Department consisted of mainly Indian medical personnel. In 1943 they were merged.
