T4 Oxf & Bucks White Metal Shoulder Title

A genuine cast in white metal with three original loops to the reverse (shaped for comfort). Marker marked JR Gaunt& Son Ltd, Birm (Birmingham). In very good condition. As worn by the 4th Territorial Battalion of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. As worn on the full dress scarlet red tunic. Scarce, as probably only worn 1908 - 1914.

The naming on this title is unusual as most often it is found as London for this period of wear, but then the badges were actually made in Birmingham and this stamp has been observed on other brass versions of this shoulder title.
