Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry DCLI (Territorials) Officers Silver Plated Collar Badge

A small left facing Die cast and silver plated badge with two original copper loops and marked 'P' to the reverse. In very good condition. Worn 1951 - 1956 (Sealed pattern 25th April 1951 and replaced in by a silver anodised version, sealed 10th October 1956).
Worn in silver plate in facing pairs on No 1 and No 3 Dress. Scarce.

Churchill does note that this smaller badge may have been worn in Silver Plate by Warrant Officers in the early 1930s.
