A large impressive and original die struck bi metal cap badge with two original brass loops (north-south) to the reverse. Strengthening bars to reverse of base for horse and above the bottom scroll to support the joint of the tiger, as originally manufactured. Dark toned. Worn circa 1874 - 1881.
A cracker.

Technically until 1881, they were associated with the county of Buckinghamshire.
