7th AGRA Faicing Matched Pair of Silk Woven Formation Designation Signs Flashes

A facing and matched pair, each depicting a yellow centaur on blue depicting 7th Army Group Royal Artillery ( AGRA ). Removed from uniform, some wear to silk on edges and on the rear belly of the centaur facing right otherwise in good overall condition. Sticky pad from display album to reverse of each, is difficult to remove on account of the delicate threads so not recommended.

A new 7th AGRA was formed in July 1955, originally designated Z AGRA ( Anti - Aircraft ). In November of that year, what had been 7th AA Brigade was redesignated 7th AGRA (AA). This badge probably dates from this time as note in this respect the recurved bow, a badge device denoting AA Command.
