1st Volunteer Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers Blackened Brass Large Pattern Cap Badge

As worn from 1903 - 1908 by other ranks, a blackened gilding metal cap badge with two original lugs to the reverse and worn with a red cloth silhouette backing on either the SD cap or the slouch hat. Some service wear to black finish which gives it an attractive patina.

A scarce, blackened brass, cap badge for the 1st volunteer battalion of The Royal Northumberland Fusilier with two lug fastenings (east and west).
