Royal Warwickshire Regiment Officers Unmarked Silver Glengarry / Pagri Badge

Unusual heavy die cast unmarked silver voided badge of officer quality with stout original pin fittings to the reverse. The design as per the Helmet Plate Centre but in one metal and finely cast. Circa 4.1cms in diameter. Any definitive information as to when it was worn would be welcome.
