WW2 Tyneside Scottish ( 12th DLI / Black Watch Battalions) White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge with Tartan Badge Backing

In very good condition with two original long loops to the reverse. Post WW2 it was also worn by Tyneside Scottish Royal Artillery. A similar pattern was worn in WW1 (typically referred to as the 3rd pattern) but in my experience WW1 examples were fitted with a stout horizontal pin fitting. Circa 5.6cms tall and 5.2cms wide. With a panel of Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) / Government Tartan Badge Backing.
