WW1 / WW2 Canada Canadian General Service Maple Leaf Bronze Cap Badge - Roden Bros

A bronze die struck cap badge with two original flat connector style loops to the reverse and embossed Roden Bros and rather tantalizingly a date after it but only '19...' is visible. Circa 3.9cms tall and 3.7cms wide. In very good condition. From the link below this appears to be the Type 1 badge, used by CEF, but also issued to units in WW2.

It was also worn as the cap badge by the Canadian 7th Dismounted Rifles in WW1 (thank you to Peter for the information).
