The Welsh Brigade Other Ranks Anodised Aluminium AA Cap Badge - Gaunt London

A Silver Anodised Aluminum pattern, Other Ranks Cap badge to the Welsh Brigade, signs of service wear and some slight bending. Two original lug fittings intact. Circa 24 x 38 mm. Pre 1970 as maker marked JR Gaunt London.

The Welsh Brigade was formed in 1958 and brought together in a brigade structure with this new cap badge three famous infantry regiments from Wales: the Royal Welch Fusiliers, the South Wales Borderers, and the Welch Regiment. The Brigade structure and badge was discarded in 1970.
