The Welsh Brigade Officers Silver Plated Cap Badge - Gaunt

A quality and heavy die cast silver plated (unmarked) officer 's cap badge with two original long loops to the reverse (some slight twisting) and embossed JR Gaunt London to the reverse. In good condition with sharp detail. Circa 3.9cms tall.

The Welsh Brigade was formed in 1958 and brought together in a brigade structure with this new cap badge three famous infantry regiments from Wales: the Royal Welch Fusiliers, the South Wales Borderers, and the Welch Regiment. The Brigade structure and badge was discarded in 1970.
