Circa 21mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Hobson, London. In very good condition.

Dress regulations for 1893 produced by Hobson & Co, confirm this is the pattern of button issued for all ranks and describes it as bronze and for all ranks and describes it as a swan on a shield in centre plus BUCKS RIFLE VOLUNTEERS encircling it. The Swan shows only one wing and has a chain around the neck.
