Federated Malay Armed Forces Maintenance Corps Bi Metal Cap Badge

A two part bi-metal cast metal cap badge of UK manufacture, with two original loops to the reverse (some bending and damage to loops but fully functional). A tiger superimposed on crossed Kris and Scabbard with the 11 pointed federation star above. Circa 4.8cm tall. Some bending to top part of star otherwise in good condition. I sold a theatre made cast version as my item 58766.

This unit conducted the functions equivalent to those of the RASC, RAOC and REME in the British Army. This pattern worn from 31 August 1957 until full Independence in 1963.
