The Hampshire Regiment Brass Helmet Plate Centre (HPC) for wear on the Glengarry
Brass other ranks Home Service helmet plate centre with two (of the original four) staple style loops to the reverse. The Royal Tiger to the centre of a circlet bearing the title, " Hampshire " Designed to be worn with the universal pattern helmet plate 1881 - 1914 as the Helmet Plate Centre and on the Glengarry until 1895, usually with a separate brass QVC crown above. Some minor polishing to the highpoints and fitted with a burgundy cloth coloured backing.
