The Worcestershire Regiment Officers Cap Badge, 1897 - 1923

A stunning No 1 dress silver plated (unmarked) and gilt cast and riveted cap badge comprising a silver star and with a gilt circular garter enclosing a silver lion against a black background (possibly enamel but hard to tell). A gilt scroll inscribed "FIRM" on the lower part of the star and and larger gilt scroll inscribed "Worcestershire" below. Two original loops to the reverse. Circa 3.9cms tall and 4.2cms wide. Gilt bright and silver untarnished. In very good condition.
