WW2 Ulster Home Guard / Antrim Embroidered Felt Cloth Combination Set
A scarce and original pair of titles as would have been worn by the County of Antrim Home Guard. Removed from uniform otherwise in very good condition and scarce.
The Ulster Home Guard of Northern Ireland adopted a set of titles in early 1942, embroidered in an orange - yellow on a fine khaki cloth. The basic title, 'Ulster Home Guard' was curved and worn on the battledress above a subsidiary title in the same finish but representing either for one of the Six Counties, or for either of the two cities of Belfast and Londonderry . The Six Counties were Armagh, Antrim, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone. The titles for Londonderry were either 'L'Derry City' or L'Derry County'.
