Chromed RAF Cap Badge, Kings Crown

Chromed RAF cap badge with chromed cotter pin. Some twisting to lugs from service wear otherwise in very good condition. Not sure if worn by band members or other specialist functions such as RAF police, or produced for a special event. Any information welcome.
