In good condition (a little bit wrinkled), hessian backed. Authorised for wear on battledress in June 1941, replaced with a printed version in April 1943. initially worn by RN Beachmasters and with a separate supplementary Commando title by RN Commando units on battledress. Rare.

WW2 81st West African Division Embroidered Cloth Formation Sign Patch Flash Designation Badge - Burma
Removed from uniform, many loose black threads around the edges, easily removed, depicting a black to tarantula spider on a now grubby yellow background. So, unlike many of the unissued ones on many sites, this one has seen some real service.
