RMLICMB - RMLI Cadet Marching Band Brass Shoulder Title

A small cast brass title with two original small loops to the reverse. By the looks of it manufactured overseas for this youth band. Scarce.

The RMLI Cadet Marching band was called 'RMLI' and not Royal Marines Light Infantry. It started in the 1960s and was based in Gosport - some 40 years after the RMLI ceased to exist and Marines had left the town in 1923. It was very popular and survived until 2008. It was a civilian venture that didn't receive any official military funding.
