Norfolk Regiment Volunteer Battalion Officers Silver Plated Collar Badge (Chain Mail Pattern)

There are a lot of varieties to be collected of the Norfolk Regiment's Britannia. This is my favourite as it shows an avantail of chain mail around her neck and a languid fully draped figure unlike some of the other stiffer looking and upright patterns. It also has a fuller seven sprig olive branch than most. In super condition and circa 3 cms tall with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Worn from 1898 to 1908.
