WW1 / WW2 Hotchkiss Gunner (Cavalry) Brass Two Part Proficiency Arm Sleeve Badge
As worn by the machine gun sections of both British and Indian Cavalry units during WW1 who were equipped with the light hotchkiss machine gun. Officially discontinued and replaced by the LG variety in 1921, but continued to be worn by some cavalry units until the were dismounted and in some cases this was not until 1940. The HF on hexagonal loops and the separate laurel wreath on round loops. In good condition, a small scratch across front of HG and one fixing loop missing on the surrounding laurel wreath.
