Australia Victorian QVC Crown Queensland Mounted Infantry (4 Stars) Brass Glengarry Badge, Circa 1860 - 1902

A circular die struck brass badge in the form of a garter surmounted by a Queen Victoria crown. The garter has the text, 'QUEENSLAND'. The garter surrounds a voided cross with four stars representing the Southern Cross. The back of the badge has two original vertically aligned lugs. Circa 53mm tall. In very good condition and dark toned. The Queensland Mounted Infantry were a Pre Australian Federation volunteer regiment.
