5th Dragoon Guards Officers Bi Metal Pouch Badge

A stunning example in silver plate and gilt with four dark toned loops to the reverse. Langridge (1959) confirms that the 5th Dragoon Guards was one of the few cavalry regiments for whom other rank pouch badges where approved. He does not mention the rules relating to officers. This is in unissued condition. It is possible this pattern, even though with a QVC crown was worn until the 1950s. Circa 9cm tall. Gorgeous.
