Royal Malta Militia Other Ranks Bi Metal Helmet Plate, circa 1889-1921

A good large die-stamped bi-metal example, two part construction, crown with usual strengthening bars to reverse as found on with this particular badge. Imperial crowned Maltese cross, the arms overlaid with a white metal four part scroll inscribed “Royal Malta Militia MDCCC”. All three toned copper loops and four braising /sweat holes to reverse. Brass dark toned, one loop bent but functional otherwise in very good condition. Circa 9.8cm tall. Scarce.
