1st Buckinghamshire (Bucks) Rifle Volunteer Corps (RVC) Other Ranks Blackened Brass Collar Badge
Die cast with two original loops to the reverse. Worn from 1876 until 1908. From 1881 known as 3rd Volunteer Battalion. retaining its status as a rifle regiment and pretty much its RVC uniform, becoming the Buckinghamshire Battalion in 1908. Attractive wear to black finish on the highpoints otherwise in very good condition and nicely curved / domed. Circa 2.1cm tall. Worn in facing pairs (thanks to Stephen for the confirmation). Scarce.
