WW2 Royal Air Force (RAF) Embroidered Red Silk on Khaki Drill Wireless Operators Trade Proficiency Arm Badge

An embroidered red on khaki drill hand with thunderbolts or fist with flashes, removed from uniform and in very good condition. Worn by qualified Wireless Operators. It was worn on both sleeves of the jacket and greatcoat immediately below the eagle badge, but below the propeller in the case of 1st class air mechanics. It was worn in red on khaki on the khaki uniform and in light blue on dark blue on the blue uniform.
