Early WW2 News Chronicle Series - British / American, Russian, German (and French), Italian & Japanese Tank Recognition Charts
Complete set of four recognition wall posters, numbered 1 to 4 charts feature tanks and armoured vehicles from Allied and Axis forces, including Italian and Japanese, Russian, German (and French), British and American forces, vehicles are shown in silhouette, and in two elevations, with written specification information about each vehicle, each wall chart measures 88 cms by 57 cms, typical WW2 economy quality paper, some small edge wear and tears but overall in very good condition.
They predate the German Tiger 1 (built August 1942) and the Amecian Sherman (which came into service in late 1942). Scarce.
'The News Chronicle' was a British daily newspaper. It ceased publication on 17 October 1960, being absorbed into the Daily Mail. Its offices were in Bouverie Street, off Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 8DP, England.
