Indian Army - 1st Punjab Regiment bi-metal Cap Badge, pre 1947

This cap badge is of two part construction and of UK manufacture, die struck gilding metal star and crown with a white metal central mounted device, with two original loops to reverse (east - west). Circa 4.4cm tall. It is unpolished and in very good condition.

The 1st Punjab Regiment was a regiment of the British Indian Army from 1922 to 1947. It was transferred to the Pakistan Army on the Partition of India in 1947.
