Scarce Indian Army ( Auxiliary Force ) - Chota Nagpur Regiment Officers Plated Cap Badge - Double Blades, pre 1947

An attractive officer's cap badge in very good condition with sharp detail, and original four tabs to the reverse. Circa 4cm tall and 3cm wide. Scarce in this condition. See also an officer's button to this regiment listed elsewhere on the site (item 54705). Worn circa 1917 - 1947.

They were Light Horse between 1910 to 1917 and a very small unit then numbering only 266 Europeans, 132 Anglo Indians and 5 Parsees.
