17th County of London ( Poplar and Stepney Rifles ) ( Territorials ) Blackened Brass Cap Badge, 1908 - 1911 only

Blackened brass, die struck and with original slider. Good strong badge, Blank tablet below crown and Battle Honours South Africa 1899 1902 on the arms of the cross. Finish in excellent condition. Partly un-voided. Created in 1908. QVC crown to bugle in the central device was apparently only worn until about 1911, making this a scarce badge.
