Mercian Brigade - Regular Infantry Regiments Embroidered Cloth Shoulder Titles

A collection of six embroidered titles in good condition (some with white bluetack and paper to the reverse of some) to the regiments which comprised the Mercian Brigade formed in 1958. The South and North Staffordshire Regiments were merged in January 1959 shortly after the Brigade as created to form the Staffordshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's). The other components of the Brigade were the Cheshire and Worcestershire Regiments. they were joined in May 1963 by the Sherwood Foresters on dissolution of the Forester Brigade (formerly known as the Midland Brigade). In good condition with no moth, but note a small glue spot to right of edge of Staffordshire title.
