Circa 21mm in diameter, open backed with fixed shank. Maker marked Hammond, Tuner & Dickinson (operated out of 100 Snowhill, Birmingham from 1790 to 1823) to reverse. Gilt to front now mainly worn back to the copper base but in very good and attractive condition. The letters M S V below a rose. Scarce. (It was their yeomanry colleagues who on the 16th August 1819 achieved infamy at the Peterloo massacre)
