Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment ( 100th & 109th Foot) WW1 issue Bi Metal Cap Badge

Made from bi-metal and in good condition with original slider to the reverse and single sweat / brazing hole to the reverse of the coronet. This is the scarcer variety with the curly scrolls and squatter coronet. It is slightly smaller than the straight scroll pattern and the feather points or tips at the base are in brass rather than white metal. The brass points of the feathers at the base do not aligned with the white plumes above (but this is true of all examples I have seen). Also there is some polishing to the high points of the plumes. Circa 4.2cm tall.
