The Green Howards ( Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own Yorkshire Regiment) (19th Foot) - 2nd Pattern Imperial Crown Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge

K&K list this badge in their 1898 - 1921 chapter. However, Gaylor claims it was issued in 1940s in error with an imperial crown in place of the coronet and was described by an officer of the Regiment as an example of regimental incompetence. I have included here for completeness but technically this should be in a later time period.
