Canadian Militia - 37th ( Haldimand) Battalion of Rifles Collar Badge - Scully

A die struck white metal collar badge with two original loops to the reverse. Maker marked W. Scully Montreal. In very good condition. Circa 3.2cm tall. King's crown.

The 114th Battalion (Brock's Rangers) was the continuation of the 37th Battalion for the Great War as part of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. After the war, the 114th was demobilised and the 37th re-activated. It was later merged with the 38th Battalion (Dufferin Rifles) of Brantford.
