WW2 era Irish Guards Valise Badge on original leather backing

A brass die struck valise badge with the correct brass box fitting, which has been stamped Firmin London below a letter R and a feint War Office Arrow, in addition it comes on its original black leather star (leather now a bit dry and crackling, I have given it a quick feed with some renaissance wax). The leather has an ink stamp to the reverse BH&G Ltd followed by 1939. Sadly top point of the "leather star" is missing but thebrass badge is in very good condition with sharp detail and it is unusual to find with these on the leather and with this amount of makers' information.
