Scarce WW1 Patriotic Magic Card Trick Folder - For the Troops at the Front

An usual item, small enough to post to the troops in the trenches. Open one side and then the other and the card "magically" transfers itself from behind the diagonal lines to the horizontal lines. It still blows my mind! A wondrous trick even now to try on your children and friend alike!

I recently saw a contemporary model made of ANZAC troops at play on the deck of a troop ship and low and behold one of the model soldiers (An Australian RSM) is demonstrating this card trick to his officer. See photo attached of the display which is not for sale here.

The reverse carries the flags of the allies, including that of Japan which dates the item to WW1. The front bears the emblem for Canada. In good condition with a kind of hard plastic to the covers. The playing card is of course a later addition to illustrate the trick! Circa 10cm tall by 7.5cm across.
