3rd Dragoon Guards / 10th Royal Hussars / 12th Royal Lancers Hallmarked Silver Regulation Pattern Cavalry Arm Badge, h/m 1884

WOs and Sergeants hallmarked silver arm badge. Maker marked WTM ( W T Morphen ) to rear and London date letter I for 1884 down the front spine of the central feather (as are the letters WTM). Some crudely engraved regimental stock control notations to reverse 7/86 and the no 1. Hollow cast construction with backing plate and two of three loops remaining. An attempted old repair to the missing loop. A good large heavy badge and circa 5.5cm tall and 5.7cm wide with good detail.

All three regiments were affiliated to the Prince of Wales and had the same sealed pattern arm badge, 376/1867.
