WW2 Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers ( REME ) 1st Pattern Brass Cap Badge - Gaunt

A brass cap badge to the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers with original slider to the reverse, stamped JR Gaunt London (no dot). Sharp detail and in very good condition. First introduced in 1942, replaced with second pattern in 1947.
