When the TA was reconstituted in 1947, a number of units were reformed that traced their origin to the Tyne Electrical Engineers' lineage, including 537 Searchlight Regiment (Tyne Electrical Engineers) RA representing 37th S/L Regiment and 37th LAA Regiment, and they wore this pattern of collar badge.
