Scarce WW1 The North Eastern Railway ( NER ) Monthly Magazine - January 1915

This original magazine has paper covers (now detached regrettably but would look good separately framed) but otherwise contents in good clean and tight condition. It contains information relating to the North Eastern Railways and its members during the Great War.

There is a photographic Roll of Honour for early 1915 an several pages of lists of employees who had enlisted in all other units (other than the NER Battalion ( 17th Northumberland Fusiliers ) which were listed in an earlier magazine). It also contains articles on the bombardments of Whitby and Scarborough and accounts of training with the Durham Light Infantry. Very scarce.
