An officer's die cast bronzed service dress cap badge for The Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers with two original blade fastenings. The reverse is marked JR Gaunt London. Some wear to bronze finish on highpoints, notably the crown.

A one-piece example, not cut down, with three original loops to the reverse. Some lack of detail from polishing and age spots otherwise in good condition with an attractive patina. Most probably worn by a Territorial battalion with a T and number above, circa 1908 - 1925.
