11th Sikh Regiment / 3rd Battalion Other Ranks White Metal Turban Badge

Cast white metal with original long pin for wear on the front of the turban. Circa 4.5cm tall. In good condition.

The circular design of the quoit or chakran is a traditional Sikh motif, and this pattern was worn post 1922 by the 3rd Battalion ( Rattrays ) - originally the Bengal Military Police Battalion, formed in 1856.
