2nd Dragoon Guards ( The Queen's Bays ) Other Ranks Brass Cap Badge

A gilding metal cap badge, with good detail, original slider but some verdigris to the reverse which is showing very slight to the front. Can be stopped with a wipe of WD40!

For just over sixty years, the regiment wore the same plain pattern brass badge, differing only in the successive three crowns: the QVC (angular type), K/C Tudor Crown (a domed variety as worn in 1914), and the Q/C St Edward's Crown worn with the accession of Queen Elizabeth II in 1952.
