BWM Northumberland Fusiliers RSM WO1 William T Yarrow

BWM is in NEF condition and correctly impressed to:
1048 W.O.Cl.1. W.T. Yarrow. North'd Fus. Mounted for wear as a single medal.

A really great find to a Regimental Sergeant Major / senior NCO. His MIC confirms entitlement to a 1914-15 trio but states he entered France Feb 1919, so something not quite right here (most probably his date of discharge). Also served with Labour Corps as CQMS(No 620013) and later WO CL1. A copy of his MIC will be supplied with the medal.

Subsequent follow up confirms he embarked for France in November 1915 with the 17th (NER) Battalion and his army number should have been expressed as "17-1048", however for some reason this has been omitted.
