Scarce Victorian Durham Light infantry ( DLI ) Officer's Forage Cap Bullion Badge, circa 1881 onwards

An embroidered gold bullion regular battalion regimental pattern badge featuring a strung bugle horn enclosing a small tablet, this on a ground of black velvet bearing the letters DLI. Removed from forage cap. Some age discolouration but in very good condition. Circa 4.5cm tall and 4.9cm wide. Coll.
