Army LSGC Medal ( 27th ) Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers - Sergeant James Whitters

Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (3rd type Victoria issue, small lettered reverse). Poor but adequate suspender repair and single slight edge bruise. NVF. His only medal.

Engraved in rim in upright capitals “2148 SERGT, J. WHITTERS. R. INNIS FUS”

With biographical write-up and a copy of his service papers (8 ages) from the PRO Kew (WO 100 97/6231).

He began his military career as a volunteer in the Fermanagh Light Infantry Militia.
