All unnamed as issued. Box is addressed as follows:

"Lt A.W. Nightingale
54 Vanbrugh Park
Blackheath
London S.E.3"

Army List October 1945, Part 1 (page 758bd), confirms only one officer of this name serving and confirms that on 20 June 1940 he received a Regular Army Emergency Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant with the Buffs (Royal East Kent Regt), and rose to the war substantive rank of Lieutenant with effect from 20 December 1941.
