WW2 Nysaland Defence Force Gilt Cast Cap Badge with Diamond Backing Cloth

Finely cast scarce cap badge in excellent good condition with two original holding lugs (east - west) undamaged and intact with a diamond felt cloth backing cloth (mustard yellow over black), which in itself is a scarce item. Badge is circa 3.5cm in diameter. Extremely scarce African auxiliary forces cap badge.

Nysaland became the Republic of Malawi in 1964.
