The Royal Welsh Fusiliers Officers Large Brass Button ( 23rd Foot)

Brass button, has seen some service as no longer gilt. Worn 1881 - 1920 as evidenced by the use of an 'S' in the word 'Welsh'. Reasonable condition with detail still sharp. Fixed shank, but with some movement and slightly bent over. Armfield & Co Ltd, Birmingham. Looks like a cheaper WW1 issue button.
